AMP Best Paper Award Winner PDF Print E-mail

The award for the best paper in the Academy of Management Perspectives was chosen by a committee composed of Paul Beamish, Tom Lawrence, and Hugh O'Neil.

The finalists for the 2007 AMP Best Paper are:

  • “In the Eye of the Beholder: Cross Cultural Lessons in Leadership from Project GLOBE” by Mansour Javidan, Peter W. Dorfman, Mary Sully de Luque, and Robert J. House. Academy of Management Perspectives, 20(1): 67-90.
  • “Contracting: A New Form of Professional Practice” by Stephen R Barley and Gideon Kunda. Academy of Management Perspectives, 20(1): 45-66.
  • “Managing in a Changing World: From Multiculturalism to Hybridization – The Production of Hybrid Management Cultures in Israel, Thailand, and Mexico” by Baruch Shimoni and Harriet Bergmann. Academy of Management Perspectives, 20(3): 76-89.

The 2007 award for AMP Best Paper goes to Mansour Javidan, Peter W. Dorfman, Mary Sully de Luque and Robert J. House – “In the Eye of the Beholder”.
